Mr. Weiner started his insurance career in 1983 as a retail insurance broker writing all lines of coverage (but specializing in commercial insurance for Main Street America). In 2001, Mr. Weiner decided to shift gears and try his hand as a wholesale insurance broker specializing in hard to place excess and surplus lines business. Initially, Mr. Weiner concentrated in writing casualty classes such as products liability, professional liability, complex construction accounts and excess liability for transportation risks. In 2003, Mr. Weiner began his concentration in writing inland marine type coverage for heavy construction equipment such as cranes, concrete pumping trucks, etc. This concentration has grown substantially over the past ten years. Now, Mr. Weiner is considered by many to be an expert in understanding the needs (and protecting the needs) of those in the transportation and construction industries.
His specialties now include: Motor Truck Cargo, Vehicle Physical Damage, Warehouse Legal Liability, Trip Transit Floaters, Contractor’s Equipment Policies, Builder’s Risk Policies, Scheduled Article Floaters, Stock Throughput Policies.
